We are a retired couple based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, embracing this wonderful stage of life with curiosity, freedom, and a love of adventure.
Travelling is one of our greatest joys — especially exploring the magic of Tasmania, where every journey feels like a new discovery. We’re always excited by fresh experiences, scenic drives, and the simple pleasure of finding somewhere new to explore together.
Animals have always held a very special place in our hearts. Over the years, we were blessed with three much-loved companions: Scruffy, our gorgeous Airedale Terrier; Cricket, our crazy but beautiful Kerry Blue Terrier; and Sooty, our gentle Mini Schnauzer, whom we lost three years ago and still miss dearly. They were truly the loves of our lives, and their memory continues to shape the way we care for animals.
At the moment, we don’t have a pet of our own, as we’re travelling frequently — but our love for animals hasn’t changed. That’s why we’re excited about housesitting, especially for families with pets who need genuine love, care, and attentive companionship while they’re away.
