I am a well travelled professional in my early 50s based in Singapore, doing consultancy work for museums and non-profit organisations. I love culture, history, art, nature, food and people (not necessarily in that order). I enjoy museums, parks, reading a good book, watching movies, musicals, operas or theatre performances. I am extremely respectful of the environment I am in, and have a highly valued habit of keeping any place I stay in clean and tidy - all my Airbnb hosts call me a perfect guest and welcome me back :) I have experience house sitting for friends when they are on vacation. I love dogs and cats. I used to have Jack Russells and 2 rescued cats of my own. I do enjoy a garden and good healthy doses of sunlight in a house I am sitting for. I am currently on sabattical and would love to rest and live in different places to just connect with simple living and just being - having quiet time for myself to recharge and write (if it leads me to). As my sabbatical period may be long drawn, house sitting allows me to be in different places and environment on a budget (saving on accommodation).
