Hi we are Jackie (45) and Nate (9). Both absolute lovers of all creatures great and small, very clean and respectful.

We recently sold our home and have been travelling South East Asia. We will be returning to WA in early October and i have always wanted to try house sitting so thought this would be the perfect opportunity before we choose somewhere permanent to settle. I’m homeschooling Nate until a new school year starts so am flexible with areas within WA at this stage. Before travelling i was working as an Education Assistant at his school.

A bit about us-
I worked in both catteries and kennels when i was younger so have heaps of experience with cats and dogs including bathing, grooming and administering medication. I have basic experience with horses. We have owned heaps of chickens (and hatched many), guinea pigs, birds, fish and a rabbit. Not much experience caring for reptiles but love them. I am very clean and tidy and would have the utmost respect for someone elses home. Nate is bright and full of energy as most 9 year olds are. I understand some might be hesitant with a 9 year old in their home but i wouldn’t even be considering this is i didn’t think it would work. He is use to staying in hotel rooms and i channel his energy into outside play and exploring new places.

Happy to take care of your home and animals in anyway you require. No problems with animals sleeping on the bed and will happily accomodate any quirks they may have. Love walking so can walk your dogs as much as they like and happy to give as much or as little attention as your pets desire.

I’m a bit of an introvert so won’t be having anyone over. Obviously i’m new to this so don’t have references for house sitting but have attached a reference from the principal of the school i worked at (last pic) and can give details for personal/work references if required. Can also provide links for the house we recently sold so you can see how we kept it. Happy to get a police clearance if required. Feel free to ask any questions 😊

Just thought i’d add, as i’ve had a few people ask if i’d need 2 rooms, that Nate is still more than happy to sleep in mummies bed so one room with a double bed or bigger is more than enough. Read more...
