My name is Graham and my wife’s name is Liz. We are both in our early 70’s and Non-Smokers. Originally from Scotland we have lived in this wonderful country for over 50 years.

I am semi-retired. I worked in the downstream gas industry for many years, both in the government and private sectors. Nowadays I have my own part time training and consulting business and continue to deliver industrial gas training for companies who want to use their own personnel to carry out gasfitting work on their sites. Typically, mine sites and Power stations.

Liz has been fully retired since 2008. She worked in hospitality for many years and had her own cleaning business. In 2002 she bought a café with a close friend in Rockingham which they ran for 7 years.

We recently sold our house as we wanted to downsize. As well we enjoy travelling, in particularly cruising and were away for 4 months last year. However, returning home became a hassle when I would find the garden overrun with weeds and the paving in need of cleaning. As well a swimming pool to look after.

We had our property listed on Airbnb for around 4 months while we tried downsizing, so hosted many guests from Overseas. As well we have stayed in Airbnb properties throughout Europe, so we can share reviews with you if required.

We like pets and had a dog for many years. However, when he died, we decided not to replace him.

We go to Scotland on holiday most years and stay with Liz’s cousin who has a dog which I take for walks.

We can’t move into our Apartment until January 2027. We have friends who come here every year for around 3-4 months and house sit and suggested it, so we have decided to give it a go, before we head off for another holiday.

You can be confident that we will look after your pet(s) and home, as though they were our own. As well do any gardening and attend to any maintenance issues should they arise.
