My name is Graham and my wife’s name is Liz. We are both in our early 70’s and don’t smoke.

Originally from Scotland we have lived in this wonderful country for over 50 years and are Australian citizens

I am semi-retired. I worked in the downstream gas industry for many years, both in the government and private sector. Nowadays I have my own part time training and consulting business and occasionally deliver industrial gas safety training for companies who want to use their own personnel to carry out gasfitting work on their sites. Typically, mine sites and power stations.

Liz has been fully retired since 2008. She worked in hospitality for many years and had her own cleaning business. In 2002 she bought a café with a close friend in Rockingham which they ran for 7 years.

I like reading, walking, cycling and helping my son with gardening and other matters, around the grounds at his large bakery in O’Connor.

We recently sold our house as we wanted to downsize. As well we enjoy travelling, in particularly cruising and were away for 4 months last year. However, returning home became a hassle when I would find the garden beds overrun with weeds and the paved areas in need of pressure cleaning.

We had our property listed on Airbnb for around 4 months while we tried downsizing, so hosted many guests from Overseas. As well we have stayed in Airbnb properties throughout Europe, so we can share reviews with you if required.

We like pets and had a dog for many years. However, when he died, we decided not to replace him. We go to Scotland on holiday most years and stay with Liz’s cousin who has a dog which I enjoy taking for walks.

We can’t move into our Apartment until January 2027. Our daughter in law’s parents come here every year in summer for around 3-4 months and told us about house sitting, so we decided to give it a go, before we head off overseas for another holiday, later in the year.

As well we get to meet some lovely people and their pets and explore different neighbourhoods.

You can be confident that we will look after your pet(s) and home, as though they were our own. As well do any gardening, watering and attend to any maintenance issues should they arise.
