I am Joy, an active and healthy 68 years young female, married to Sam, who is an active and healthy 73 years young. We are looking to see Australia at a pace that allows us to find all the interesting and quirky things in every area we visit. We are open to some part-time work as we travel, if required. I, Joy have had animals all my life, love cats and dogs but can also feed and water birds, chickens, goats and other farm animals though no experience with horses, cows or sheep. Sam, my husband is from a cropping background so knows his way around tractors but is also a fantastic handyman. I have a good deal of office experience, I can elaborate should this be requested.
We are keen to housesit /caretake your home, pets or business to allow you the opportunity to take that well-earned break, knowing that your home, pet or business is in safe hands. We will keep the lawns and gardens watered and cared for and we will love your animals almost as much as you. We have one young cattle dog travelling with us, born early August 25, she is cute, friendly and in training to be nonchalant around new animals.
We also will be travelling with our fully outfitted off-grid caravan which is 23ft or 7 metres.
Preference would be for 1 month to 3 month stays however we would consider 1 or 2 weeks, if it meshed with our itinerary. Read more...
