Jean-Luc and I are recently retired, and are devoted animal lovers. We would love to care for Winston while you are travelling. He will receive the best care, and loads of love and attention. We are experienced in animal care, with many years as wildife rescuers and rehabilitators, which we undertake when we are at home in Tasmania. We have reared orphaned possums, wallabies and wombats. We also regularly care for two of our friends' dogs and another friend's parrot when they travel. Our daughter's Dachshund, Annie (she has such an attitude!), has lived with us while she has been overseas for several months. Our own dog, a Golden retriever, Bear, who was so exhuberant and adorable, passed away about 6 months ago, aged around 12. Jazzpurr and Freddie, our two cats (brothers) also passed away from old age in recent years. Bear, Jazzpurr and Freddie were rescue babies, who we had for over 11 and 15 years, and required special care with medication in their old age. We have undertaken several house sits, both privately and through trusted house sitters, and have been asked on all occasions if we can sit again. We not only care for the fur babies, we also ensure the house is looked after and clean for your arrival home. We are looking at sits in Brisbane as It will give Jean-Luc and I the opportunity to visit Jean-Luc's son regularly, who will having bone marrow transplant during that period.
