Hi, I’m Jess! 😊

I’m a solo traveller who spends quite a bit of time travelling between Brisbane and where I’m currently based, mainly so I can spend more time with my two boys. I’m always looking for house-sitting opportunities around Brisbane, as having somewhere comfortable to stay makes it possible for me to visit them more often.

I grew up around animals and previously lived on a little hobby farm in the Lockyer Valley, so I’m comfortable with the everyday basics of looking after pets and animals. Feeding, fresh water, keeping things clean, giving them some attention and making sure they’re happy and settled are all things I’m more than comfortable with. 🐾

I’m clean, respectful and pretty easygoing. I’m also reasonably handy and happy to tackle little jobs and basic fixes around the house if something needs doing.

My work is flexible, so I can generally organise my schedule around a house sit and, with enough notice, getting the time I need is usually pretty straightforward.

I’m also very much a quiet house sitter. I keep to myself, enjoy a relaxed environment and will treat your home with the same care and respect I’d expect someone to give mine.

And don’t worry — your house isn’t going to become party central while you’re away. 😂 I don’t have enough friends for that to be a realistic concern anyway!

Ultimately, I’m looking for a mutually beneficial arrangement where I can spend time in Brisbane and be closer to my boys, while giving someone peace of mind that their home and pets are being well looked after.
