Hi, we’re Jodie and Ollie; a responsible, animal-loving couple from the UK and Ireland, currently relocating to Brisbane. As we settle into this exciting new chapter, we’re offering house and pet sitting services and would love the opportunity to care for your home and furry family while you're away.

Jodie (29):
I’m a biomedical scientist originally from the Irish countryside. I grew up surrounded by animals - dogs, cats, rabbits, and even horses. I spent much of my childhood outdoors, riding, hiking, and helping care for all our pets including mucking out the stables. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve always felt at home in nature.

Ollie (30):
I'm Ollie, an environmental consultant who grew up in Manchester, UK. I grew up with several family dogs and a pair of much-loved guinea pigs, and I’ve always enjoyed the calm and routine that comes from a happy home. I take pride in caring for spaces with respect and attention to detail, and I really enjoy creating a comfortable, enriching environment for both people and pets.


We’ve both grown up with pets and are very comfortable around animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Back home, Jodie’s family has a big-hearted St Bernard named Freya, and Ollie’s family has a spirited Working Red Fox Labrador called Jesse. We’ve also had plenty of hands-on experience looking after pets for extended family and friends - everything from weekend drop-ins to longer stays involving medication, routines, and lots of quality time.

We’re both outdoorsy and active, enjoying weekend hikes, frisbee in the park, and horse riding when the opportunity arises. We’re naturally home-loving too, we’re non-smokers, non-drinkers, and respectful of any space we’re trusted with. We enjoy calm, clean environments and take great pride in looking after other people’s homes with the same care we would our own.

What motivates us most about house sitting is the chance to spend time with animals again while we explore our new home in Queensland. We genuinely miss our family pets and know how much peace of mind it brings when you know your pets are being cared for by people who truly enjoy their company. We love the routine and companionship that comes with having animals around and aim to make them feel safe, happy, and at ease.

House sitting also gives us a unique chance to get to know different areas of Queensland before we settle down permanently and eventually welcome pets of our own. We’re reliable, communicative, and happy to follow any routines or special instructions to ensure everything runs smoothly while you’re away.
