More information about this house sitter

We are a couple in our early fifties from Germany, currently taking a six-month sabbatical in Australia. We will be in Melbourne for part of this time. We can easily fit pet or farm animal care into our daily routine, whatever their needs. We really enjoy doing this, because there is just nothing better than taking a break from our sometimes dry academic writing by walking the dog or feeding the goats :-).
We have our own house back home and are accustomed to maintaining a larger property and garden. We are quite handy and technically versed. We do not currently have any pets of our own as we travel too much. However, we enjoy looking after our neighbours' pets while they are away. Over the years, we have looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chooks, goats, sheep, ponies, horses and steers. No animal too big or small :-)!
We will be available from 25 October in the greater Melbourne area.
