Julie and Paul

More information about this house sitter

Hi, we're Julie and Paul, a recently retired couple travelling Australia in our caravan.
I'm a retired school teacher and Paul is a retired remedial massage therapist and farmer.
We have extensive rural and farm experience having worked on a 4th generation farm for many years. During that time we cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, horses, poultry and other farm animals.
We are very comfortable with rural properties, basic farm routines and the day to day responsibilities that come with country living.
We understand the importance of reliability, common sense and keeping a close eye on things while owners are away.
We are lifelong animal lovers and have always had dogs and cats as part of our family.
We are respectful, trustworthy, responsible and take great pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well cared for home. We are non smokers and live a quiet relaxed lifestyle. Paul is very practical and handy and we both enjoy gardening, nature, walking and people.
We are also happy to help with property upkeep such as watering, mowing, basic maintenance and garden care.
We travel in a small 16 Ft caravan and are happy to stay in our van on-site if space is available or in your house - whatever you prefer. If there's no space for our caravan, that's okay - we'll find somewhere else to leave it.
We are flexible, easy to communicate with and very happy to provide references.
We look forward to caring for your home, animals and property and giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. Read more...
