More information about this house sitter

We are an active couple who have very recently retired. We have always had homes in rural or semi-rural areas so are quite used to caring for and maintaining large lawn and garden areas. Our own home is being well cared for by friends for the next 2 years allowing us the freedom to travel in our caravan or house/pet-sit across NZ and also in Australia where one son and extended family members are living (Queensland and Western Australia).
Our now grown children had a menagerie of animals when they were younger (dogs, cats, lambs, goats, chickens). Our dog Stella was a rescue pup (huntaway shepherd cross) and more recently we cared for Olive, a labrador for 18 months while her owners were overseas.
