Hi there!


My name is Kirra (yes, like the beach), I am freshly 27, seeking a temporary home while I contemplate my next ‘move’!

While I am originally from South Australia, I fell in-love with SEQ on a whim four years ago, especially the Sunshine Coast - my first QLD home. I am an optical dispenser by trade, but for now, I am taking a break from work to explore!

I am an early riser, market goer and a non-smoker. I enjoy keeping myself fit and healthy, and take pride in being a tidy housekeeper. I am comfortable caring for houseplants and tending to gardens, and have some experience with pool maintenance.

While I enjoy the company of all animals, I do have a soft spot for cats. I have two of my own - Cedric and Magellan - who are currently staying with my parents while I travel. I am no stranger to cleaning litter trays, changing drinking water, cat vomit or the realities of being woken up by furry friends demanding breakfast, the list goes on! I am also more than likely to take and share photos of your darling pets whenever I find them in funny/weird situations as I go about my day (if that's something you would like haha).

Though I am new to ‘Mindahome’, I have experience minding houses/pets for friends and acquaintances over the years and would be grateful for any opportunities to build on that experience by caring for your home and pets as if they were my own.
