Hello, my name is Kirsten. I am a professional working at a university in Canberra. I live in Canberra but I am originally from Canada. I moved to Australia at 18, where I met my husband and built a wonderful life together, raising our two beautiful children.

I am currently seeking house-sitting opportunities while navigating a separation, with my children and former spouse remaining in our family home. The children would not enter your home for the duration of my stay. House sitting provides me with a flexible living arrangement while allowing me to offer homeowners the peace of mind that their home and pets are being cared for by someone responsible and trustworthy.

I have always loved animals and grew up surrounded by pets, including dogs, cats, and horses. I currently own a 10-year-old Aussiedoodle and understand the importance of providing pets with consistent care, affection, and attention to their routines.

I work full-time in a professional role and have the flexibility to work from home two days per week, allowing me to spend additional time caring for your home and pets. Outside of work, I enjoy fitness, running, reading, and exploring new restaurants. I am naturally quiet, respectful, and value maintaining a clean, organised environment. I have a police clearance and I am a non smoker.

As a house sitter, I understand that the role is about much more than simply occupying a home. It is about giving homeowners confidence that everything is being looked after while they are away.
