Hello! We are a mature, practical couple from Christchurch, NZ, currently living on a 10-acre lifestyle property. With backgrounds in trades, business ownership, holiday home and motel management, we bring strong hands-on skills and a high level of responsibility .

We are experienced animal lovers, having owned cats and dogs, and Sonya has bred two litters of English Staffordshire Terriers. We understand the importance of routine, care, and affection for pets while you’re away.

Matt has vast experience in property maintenance , also self employed in plumbing and drainage industry for 30years .
Sonya has been a flight attendant for 8 years and will be taking a career break in 2026, giving us the flexibility to travel and house sit across Australia from mid-May onward.

We are non-smokers, security-conscious, tidy, and excellent communicators.
