We are in our 10th year of house-sitting in Australia- from Brisbane to Perth, Darwin to Tasmania and many places in between, whilst making friends along the way.
Travelling and living in our comfortable, fully self-contained, 7.5 mt Talvor Caravan pulled by our trusty Mazda BT-50 and having just celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary, we love & live the life we lead.
We prefer our property stays to be between 2-5 months allowing us time to experience and enjoy the unique surrounds and meet new friends.
We are retired, have good health, are non-smokers, nature & Animal lovers, have no pets, therefore we enjoy looking after them.
Leigh is into photography and plays Mah Jong, while Grahame prefers to maintain our van & vehicle and both share the jobs & tasks required of the property owners.
Since arriving in Tasmania at the end of 2024, we have been house-sitting in the Stowport & Ridgley Areas (as well as in Melbourne). We are currently looking after a 5 acre property in the Ridgley area caring for gardens of flowers, plants, fruit & vegetables, several chooks, 7 newly hatched chickens, 2 ducks and 2 donkeys etc., and we are now looking forward to creating more memories as we help others to make theirs.
