I am a young active grandma who's daughter is about to have her second baby.
After living in Leura for 16 years my husband and I left the Blue Mountains 3 years ago. My daughter still resides in Katoomba with her husband and toddler so I visit frequently. Now with a second baby due I am looking for the opportunity to housesit during my visits as their home is a tiny 2 bedroom cottage.
I have no ties during my stays so I could easily care for pets, maintain gardens etc. I could work my daily schedule around the needs of pets e.g. walking, playing, exercising, feeding.
I am neat and tidy, a non-smoker, responsible and caring. I can assure any potential home owner that I will treat their property as if it were my own and take great care and pride in my surrounds.
