Hello,
I’m Shelley , a warm, responsible, active and experienced house and pet sitter who genuinely loves animals, beautiful homes and discovering new places.

After many years in the corporate world and raising a family, I’m enjoying a new chapter with more freedom to travel, explore and experience different places and communities. House sitting brings together so many things I love — animals, nature, travel and the opportunity to experience life as a local rather than simply passing through as a tourist.

As a homeowner myself, and someone who has used house sitters over the years, I understand the trust involved in leaving your home and beloved pets in someone else’s care. I’m reliable, respectful and communicative, and I take pride in creating a calm, happy environment where your pets feel safe, loved and well cared for while you’re away.

I’ve grown up with animals and have cared for dogs, cats, chickens and pets with all sorts of personalities — energetic and playful, independent, curious or a little anxious and in need of extra reassurance. I enjoy getting to know each animal and their individual routines, quirks and needs.

I’m also very house proud and will treat your home with the same care and respect I would give my own. I’m happy to water plants, tend gardens, collect mail and keep things clean, tidy and well maintained.

And a little more about me beyond the sitting! I’m an artist, nature lover, walker, swimmer and passionate traveller. I’m curious about people, places and different ways of living, and I value kindness, connection, laughter and clear communication. I love beautiful surroundings and the simple pleasures of everyday life — a good walk, a swim, a coffee and, of course, the company of a lovely animal.

For me, house sitting is a genuine win-win: you can go away knowing your home and pets are in caring hands, while I get to experience another part of the world as a “local”, and enjoy the companionship of your fur family.
