Hello!🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m María (26) from Spain and my boyfriend is Zeno (29) from Belgium. Before Australia I was working in Antimoney laundering in a Bank and he was an electrician, and then we moved to Broome, WA, this March 2025 and he started working in the construction industry and I started working full time as a runner in the restaurant of the golf club and as a barternder at a pub to do our 88days for the extension of the work and holiday visa.
We have just finished our roadtrip and are so excited to start living in Perth.
I’d say personally we are both very extroverted and kind people and at home we like the quietness and tidiness.
In relation to animals, Zeno had dogs in Belgium all his life and we can’t wait to have a permanent house one day to adopt a dog🥹. I have never had any dog as my parents didn’t want it but my passion didn’t stop me and I was a volunteer for 2 years in the dog shelter in my home city, in charge of feeding them, walking them, playing with them, administrating them different medicines, managing the social media and showing them to the interested families.
For any reference, we did 2 pet sittings in Broome: the first one was taking care of Baloo during 2 weeks (I think we was a German Shorthaired Pointer), the second one was taking care of Fox (and sometimes of his friend Patch) during one month and a half (both border collies).
