Hello, I’m Jodie 👋
I’m 39 and currently work as a Law Clerk, spending two days a week in a Geelong office and two days working from home. I presently live in the country in Scarsdale with family and am looking to relocate to the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, or the Surf Coast/Geelong regions within the next year. House and pet sitting feels like the perfect opportunity to responsibly explore these areas while caring for homes and much-loved pets.
Although I’m new to online house sitting platforms, I have regularly house and pet sat for family and friends while they’ve been away. This has included caring for homes and a variety of pets, and I’m very comfortable taking full responsibility in someone else’s space.
I’m an extremely neat, tidy, and respectful non-smoker and non-drinker. I’m security-conscious, reliable, and a great communicator. I understand how important regular updates and peace of mind are when you’re away from home.
I’ve been a pet owner all my life and have cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and chickens. I genuinely adore animals and build strong bonds with them quickly. I live an active lifestyle and love spending time in nature, whether that’s walking along the beach or through nature reserves. I’m very affectionate and loving with pets and am more than happy for them to sleep on the bed and enjoy plenty of cuddles if that’s what they’re used to.
I’m open to both short-term and long-term sits and would be honoured to be considered to look after your home and pets as if they were my own.
