Hey hey, we’re Lukas (27, from Germany) and Lauren (26, from Scotland). We’re a couple who share a love of traveling, animals, and exploring life at a slower pace. After spending the past few years journeying almost all the way around Australia, we’re now looking to take a breath of stillness, settle in one place for a while, and pour our care into looking after pets and homes.

Lukas has a background in tourism and brings with him a natural sense of friendliness, responsibility, and organisation. He’s used to welcoming and looking after people from all walks of life in his work, and he carries that same attentiveness when it comes to animals and home care. He’s calm, reliable, creative, and has a quiet way of making both pets and people feel at ease. Lukas has a family dog at home in Germany called Ben - he’s super energetic and loves forest walks.

Lauren works remotely part-time in marketing and SEO, which means she can be based anywhere, as long as there’s good Wi-Fi and a furry friend nearby. Her work life is flexible, which gives her plenty of time and presence to care for pets, stick to routines, and ensure everything at home runs smoothly. She’s thoughtful, detail-oriented, and has a soft spot for dogs and cats alike (though she’s been known to chat away to chickens too). At home Lauren has a cat - she’s a little diva.

As travellers, we’ve lived in everything from campervans to shared houses, so we know the value of respecting other people’s spaces and treating them with care. We pride ourselves on leaving places exactly as we found them (if not a little better) and making sure pets feel loved and secure while their humans are away.

For us, house sitting is the perfect way to balance our love for travel with our desire to give back. It allows us to feel grounded in a community, create a sense of home, and enjoy spending time with pets - something we’ve missed while moving around so much. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles on the sofa, keeping gardens tidy, or simply being present in the house, we’re committed to offering reliable, trustworthy, and genuine care.
