Hello!

We are Maddy (30) and James (28) from the UK. We are engaged and due to get married in May 2027.

We’re spending a year travelling and working in Australia. So far we’ve travelled the East Coast from Cairns to Melbourne and beyond to Tasmania.

We’re now heading to Western Australia looking forward to the opportunity to care for some amazing Aussie pets!

We will then be heading back to the East Coast in May 2026.

We are both animal lovers and have always been around dogs. James grew up with the adorable Australian Labradoodle , Alfie. Alfie recently reached his senior years and sadly passed away.
Maddy’s family dog is a boisterous Bouvier Des Flandres, Teddy. He is a 9 stone bundle of love!!

We frequently house sit Maddy’s sister’s dog, a young energetic Bedlington Terrier named Sweep.

We’re both comfortable and confident when looking after pets, and also used to being around cats and enjoy their company.

Back home in the UK, Maddy was working as a Lawyer and James was working as an engineer.
Since being away we’ve both really missed being around animals and would love to add this opportunity onto our Aussie adventure.
