Hi there!

We’re Manon and Laurene, two energetic, non-smoking, 30-something French-Australian women who share a deep love for animals, staying active, travel, and good food.

Pet sitting isn’t something we do occasionally or between trips, it’s our full-time way of living, and has been since 2018. Our lifestyle is built around caring for homes and animals while working remotely and travelling, which allows us to offer something many sitters can’t: real presence, consistency, and genuine care.

Who we are

Manon runs a web development agency (creativebaguette .com) and works remotely, meaning pets have company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. Laurene is a passionate CrossFit athlete who thrives on movement, routine, and time outdoors. Together, we strike a balance between calm, grounded energy and an active lifestyle something pets tend to respond to very quickly.

We both grew up surrounded by animals and feel naturally at ease caring for them. We understand that every pet has their own personality, habits, and sensitivities, and we take the time to learn what makes them feel safe, settled, and happy.

Our lifestyle & approach

Because pet sitting is how we live, we fully step into your routine while you’re away. We don’t rush in and out, and we don’t treat sits as a place to sleep, your home becomes our base, and your babies become part of our daily rhythm.

Active dogs get proper walks, stimulation, and playtime. More independent or older pets get calm companionship, consistency, and respect for their pace. We adapt to your pets, not the other way around.

We’re clean, organised, respectful, and communicative. We take pride in looking after homes properly and understand how personal it feels to trust someone with your space. We also know how it feels to return from a trip, which is why we always make sure your home feels welcoming, settled, and cared for when you come back.

Experience & special care

Over the years, we’ve cared for a wide range of animals and situations, and we’re comfortable adapting to different needs and temperaments.

This includes:
- Administering treatments and following medication routines (incl. insuline injections)
- Caring for elderly pets and animals with additional needs
- Looking after anxious, reactive, or strong personalities
- Experience with extra large and small dogs
- Caring for blind, deaf, and physically disabled animals
- Puppies and kittens (including toilet training, routines, and supervision)

We’re calm under pressure, patient, and observant & we always prioritise safety, routine, and clear communication.

Beyond the house

Our experience isn’t limited to pets alone. We’ve also:
-Looked after veggie patches and gardens
-Cared for small farms and rural properties
-Assisted with animal births, including delivering lambs
-Managed feeding routines for livestock such as chickens, ducks, sheep, and alpacas

We’re comfortable with responsibility and understand what it means to look after a property as a whole, not just the animals inside it.

A little more about us

You may have seen Manon wearing the green and gold representing Australia in handball and beach handball, while Laurene is usually found lifting weights that somehow end up heavier than Manon’s at the gym. Sport has shaped both of us,discipline, consistency, and commitment naturally carry into how we care for your home and pets.

At the same time, we’re easy-going, practical, and respectful. We like things done properly, without fuss.
