About Us
We are passionate animal lovers with a lifelong history of caring for pets, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, and small animals. Alongside our love for animals, we have experience with garden maintenance and basic home care, so you can feel confident your pets, home, and outdoor spaces will all be well looked after while you’re away.

As homeowners ourselves in New Zealand (currently rented), we truly understand how important it is to have someone reliable and respectful caring for your property. We treat every home as if it were our own.

Who We Are
We are a friendly, trustworthy professional couple with a strong work ethic and 9 years together. We share a love of travel, animals, and new experiences.

After spending two years living in New Zealand, we travelled through Central America before returning to Melbourne. We later spent time in Darwin working on government health contracts and have since returned to Melbourne as our base, with regular travel for work and leisure.

Amanda is a Kiwi and Mark is Australian, and our lifestyle has made us adaptable, responsible, and comfortable in new environments.

Our Experience
We have many years of experience caring for pets and homes for friends and family, as well as multiple positive reviews on the Mind a Home platform. We’re happy to provide excellent references, including both character and house-sitting recommendations.

We understand how much pets mean to their owners, so we’re always happy to send regular updates, photos, and messages for peace of mind. No matter the type of animal, we will care for them with genuine affection, patience, and attention.
