Hello! 👋🏼 My name is Jenny.
I have a lot of experience house-pet-sitting! A variety of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, birds, and caring for gardens & plants.

(ʙᴀꜱᴇᴅ ɪɴ ᴍᴇʟʙ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜ ᴏᴘᴇɴ ᴛᴏ ᴀᴜꜱᴛʀᴀʟɪᴀ-ᴡɪᴅᴇ ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇꜱɪᴛꜱ – ᴍᴀʏ ɪɴᴠᴏʟᴠᴇ ᴛʀᴀᴠᴇʟ ᴄᴏꜱᴛꜱ)

Thank you for perusing my profile. Please take the time to read through. This ensures a good fit and the housesitting & communication process to be as smooth as possible!

I am a single, professional female, mature, responsible, respectful, calm disposition, affectionate and caring with a natural rapport and experience with dogs and cats, and other animals too! I adore them. Many say that I have a grounded and very calming nature and pets respond well to this.

(𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲) 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀:
I have a long list of 5 star reviews and testimonials collated into a PDF in addition to the ones displayed on this membership site. Available upon request.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗰𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁/𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣:
By profession, I am a manual therapist/bodyworker and teacher (teaching both online courses and in-person workshops). This focus on health and wellbeing extends to my care in making animals (and people!) feel good.
––––
𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆:
WFH: I work online from home. I enjoy maintaining a beautiful home & garden. As a result of working from home, pets have my company almost 24/7! I'm immaculate in the home, and similarly greatly appreciate a clean & neat home upon my arrival.

𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘺 𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤 𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘦. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴.
––––
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁:
It’s very rewarding as I love the company of animals; I don’t have my own pets so it’s extra special; it's a mutual advantage for both the owner and me to care for their home and pets as I work online and able to provide the care and attention for the pets. An added bonus is that I'm able to enjoy different places, neighbourhoods, regions, etc.
I welcome change in surroundings and adapt super well to new sights, experiences and pet bonding.
-----
I enjoy living a fit, healthy, clean, and tranquil life. I care for your house and garden/plants with respect and pride; I care and love your pets as if they were my own. (You'll read more about this in the PDF doc with reviews).

𝗔 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁:
I enjoy my work in health & hands-on healing therapies; I enjoy reading (e.g. 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘳", 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘓𝘢𝘸𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘺), walking in 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, beaches, mountains, bush, forests, parks and immersing in the sounds of nature; I simply love all things nature, beauty & art; I enjoy classical music or just silence...
––––
𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺, 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆: I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, no parties, no drugs, nor enjoy/play loud music; I don’t even watch/own a TV! - just interesting things on Youtube occasionally.
I am respectful of my surroundings, the community, and your neighbours.
––––
𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴:
A long walk in mornings (with dog if I'm dog-sitting), feed your pet and/or cuddles. Tend to garden/plants; work online, study, read research/write. On a given day I may go on a scenic long bush walk or visit gardens, beach or lakes. Perfect outings! If dogs are allowed, I will always take your doggie with me!

𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰: I enjoy caring for gardens and plants. If weeding, dead-heading flowers etc. is part of the housesit (even lawn mowing), I'm happy to do that too. I am in awe of nature, and love trees, plants & flowers.
(𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚎𝚝 𝚒𝚗 𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚙𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚏𝚊𝚟𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎).

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆:
My online work keeps me pretty busy and content being in the home/patio/porch much of the time.
Thus, pets receive much love and company. I also may seek a pilates or yoga class in the new area, visit a gallery or other sites to enjoy when in a more urban area.
––––
As per instructions from you, I’ll schedule required tasks such as the feeding/walking pets (𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚍𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗*), tending to plants/garden, and anything else that needs care and attention.

* 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: I've given medication to dogs and cats in the form of tablets (crushed or whole) into their food, or liquid.
I would be comfortable using a syringe to inject medication if required – 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 the animal is receptive and used to this, especially from a new person.
----
𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀: I'm comfortable caring for elderly pets and have done so numerous times, e.g. for a 17 year old Spoodle that had mobility issues and required to be carried up/down stairs occasionally, and for elderly cats needing extra TLC and fur brushing (I love fur brushing for cats!).
𝗣𝘂𝗽𝘀/𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀: Ditto.

I appreciate a detailed ad, or a private message that is transparent describing pet traits, any quirks, neurosis, or deficiencies/issues your pet might have. This ensures no surprises and best match and care for your pet(s).
––––
𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲: I'm ok with cats sleeping with me (in fact, I enjoy it) and 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 calm, quiet dogs too – if its an integral part of the house-sit arrangement and what the pets prefer to feel most loved and comfortable.
––––
𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
I've looked after a fair few animals! Here's a list that keeps growing.
𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘴:
Burmese cats, Tabby cats, Rag doll, all of different ages from young kittens to senior cats.

𝘋𝘰𝘨𝘴:
Australian Shepherd dog/pup, Kelpie, Scottish Cairns terrier, Labrador, Keeler/cross, Border Collie, Husky, Dalmation and a Chiuhuaha, Kelpie-cross-Border Collie, Cavoodle, groodle, Spoodle and a Labradoodle,
(Various ages from about 2 year old to a elderly age of 17)

𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘴:
I've also cared for horses. birds, fish and chickens too on a few occasions!

𝘏𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘴: I'm not a horse rider (yet, would love to some day), but I'm comfortable around them, and happy to brush their coat and/or feeding them etc. Such s𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎𝚜!

𝙿𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚝𝚎 𝚊 𝚏𝚎𝚠 𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚛𝚊 𝚍𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚜 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚎𝚍 𝚋𝚎𝚕𝚘𝚠:

𝗖𝗮𝗿 / 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
I have a full drivers license (auto), however, I 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳. Never been an issue. I enjoy walking.

Having said that: Frequently house-owners will include car access, especially if in an area that has limited public transport, or if the housesit is interstate or just for essentials and/or emergencies (though, never had an emergency). Or, simply because getting around with wheels, helps.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆.
I take pride in looking after your home as if my own - I'm immaculate in the house (see all reviews). I therefore appreciate your home to be equally clean and tidy.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 - 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲:
I am happy to provide more photos for you, or have a video chat.
Similarly, to proceed with a potential housesit arrangement, please kindly 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦, both inside & out, and of course, your pet(s).

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱:
I am on occasion available to arrive a day or so earlier (to the dates on your ad) and many times this works very well for both owner and me! Please ensure this is mentioned in your ad description or private message to me.

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
From July 1st, 2026

𝘋𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘴:
I have a preference for longer house-sits of approx 1-month-plus. Though definitely open to shorter ones of a couple of weeks.
––––
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁:
Currently, available to housesit all over Australia.
Interstate housesit invitations may involve travel costs. This is greatly appreciated.
(𝘐'𝘮 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦)
For interstate, longer housesits are preferred: min 3 weeks.
---------

𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙗. 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 & 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨:
I can house-sit all over metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
Also the Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine peninsula, semi-rural areas such as North Warrandyte, Dandenong Ranges, Yarra Valley,
𝘼𝙡𝙨𝙤, further afield into the countryside such as Echuca, Castlemaine. As long as it's accessible to get to from Melbourne via regional bus coach or train!

Thank you once again for perusing my profile!

I look forward to meeting you and your furry family and/or garden and property.

Warmest regards,
~ Jenny. ♡
