More information about this house sitter

I am a single “Senior” house-sitter – retired from working – which means: I am not tied down and I am flexible. It also means I am “at home” during most of a house-sit. If you have in mind a young sitter, I hope you will take me into consideration as well, as I am fully fit, healthy and capable as well as highly experienced. I am non-smoker and non-drinker (although some may say that counts against me – lol). I don’t have any pets of my own, and don’t bring any pets to a house-sit. I also drive a recent SUV so transport is not an issue.

I returned to Canberra a few years ago following a 5 year period in China lecturing in Medical & Hospital Computing (and one year rec leave in Canada). Previously I was a Public (Civil) Servant for more than twenty-five years, working as a Computer Professional. I am now retired.

I am ethical, and a clean and tidy person, also healthy and reasonably fit. I like to leave a house sit at least as good as when it was handed over to my care. My great hobby is travel and almost everything else I enjoy in life I seem to find on the Internet. I also follow a hobby building my own computers, 3D printers and CNC equipment. Read more...
