More information about this house sitter

After living overseas for the last few years, I am returning to Sydney with my wife and we are keen to use house sitting as a way of considering potential areas for us to ultimately settle in.

I am 61 and work from home as a freelancer with clients all over the world. As a family we are used to having a cat at home, but we have also looked after dogs and chickens as part of house-sitting assignments in the past. I have personally had experience with less conventional pets when I was younger (e.g. lizards, aviary birds, ducks, chickens, etc).

My wife is a university lecturer although currently without a teaching post.
