Hello! I am a writer, academic and educator who loves travelling and animals. At home I have four chickens, two cockatiels, a budgie and a cat and have previously cared for dog friends. As a PhD student and remote worker, I am home during the day and have plenty of time for walks, fun and cuddles. I take pride in being clean, responsive and responsible. I also work for a charity, Left Write Hook, where I am a facilitator and educator (look up the Netflix documentary!)

I am house-sitting because I love travel but equally love the feeling of being home and miss not having animals around. I have extensive pet care experience, including looking after older and/or sick animals that need additional care. I am also happy to look after gardens as I love plants.

I have a working with children check and am in the process of obtaining a police check. I am happy to supply multiple references as I know letting someone into your home to care for your pets is a huge act of trust. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker.
