Hi! We're Silvia & Davide, an Italian couple who left everything behind to travel Asia and now we're ready to fall in love with Australia, caring for homes and pets as our own.

House sitting for us is the perfect way to experience a place authentically and also animals are the best part. There's something incredibly special about earning a pet's trust and making sure they feel safe and loved while their family is away.

We're two Italians in our 25s who made the leap two years ago, packed up our lives and set off to explore Asia, living slowly and intentionally in each country we visited. We visited South Korea, China, Malaysia, Bali, Japan, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Now Australia is calling us, and we want to experience it the way we love best: not as tourists, but as locals.

I (Silvia) have hands-on experience as a professional dog and cat sitter, it's something I did back home as actual work, not just a hobby. Also I grew up with animals my whole life: two cats and a dog who was honestly more like a little brother to me than a pet. I love him so much I have tattoos dedicated to both of them, and when he got sick, I learned to administer his IV drips at home myself, because that's just what you do for family.

Davide shares the same care and respect for animals and homes. Together we're a calm, reliable, and genuinely affectionate pair: the kind of people who will leave your home cleaner than they found it and send you unprompted updates about how happy your pets are.

Also my love for animals goes beyond the ones I care for directly: I've been vegan since 2020, because for me it's all part of the same thing: respect for every living being.
