As a couple of 35 years, we have rented/owned and lived in 4 houses and also owned and rented out 2 properties. So, we know both spectrums of the house market. Over the years we have travelled (the longest for 6 months) and utilised house sitters so we know what it feels like to leave your home and pets in the care of others. We understand that not only is there monetary value in your house, but it and your pets are your life and consequently we would do our utmost to care and look after them. Over the years we have looked after friends and family houses while they have been away and housesat for people overseas. Also, on numerous occasions we have had family pets come to stay with us, so they are in a loving environment while their owners are on holiday. We understand that sometimes you want to touch base to see how everything is going and we are happy to email, Zoom or Facetime. We recently had to say goodbye to our elderly cat who we lovingly give extra attention, medication and care. Our beautiful dog died a few years back. We now have two grand ‘fur’ babies (a ragdoll cat and a German Shepherd x Golden Retriever) who love to visit and often stay with us. Over the years we have had rabbits, guinea pigs and until recently chooks. Mal is now retired and I work casually so we figured it is a good time to explore Australia and the world and enjoy some travel. Read more...
