Our names are Marty and Sharyn. We are a fit, semi-retired couple in our early 60s, non-smokers, and pet-free. Since July 2023, we’ve been living and travelling in our caravan on the Sunshine Coast after relocating from our home in Normanville, South Australia, to be closer to family.

For over 33 years, we owned and operated a family building company, first in Adelaide, and later in Normanville on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula, where we enjoyed a sea change for seven years.

We are lifelong animal lovers. Although our much-loved Japanese Spitz, Pippa, passed away six years ago, we continue to find great joy in caring for other people’s pets.

We began house sitting in October 2023 and have since completed 17 successful sits, many through word of mouth. Our experience includes caring for homes with both large and small gardens, pools, and a wide variety of pets. We genuinely enjoy gardening, so you can feel confident your plants, grounds, and pool will be well looked after.

We take pride in maintaining a clean, well-cared-for home and will treat your property, pets, and surroundings with the same respect and attention as our own.

We are happy to provide references from our private sits upon request.
