Hi, I am Lou! I am an energetic, fun and friendly women of 51 (I know, I can’t believe it either) whose first love is adventure, followed closely by my partner and son (equal seconds), my camper van and my amazing tropical garden. I have a passion for travel and movement, find it generally hard to stay put for too long so I am always on the move looking for the next destination. I am fastidiously clean and organised, nuts about all animals (unfortunately our lovely big mutt Sam passed last June - still recovering ❤️‍🩹) and I am 100pc committed to looking after your home, your precious furry and feathered family and making sure you return home to a clean, tidy space, happy pets and maybe even a freshly baked cake on the kitchen bench? I work as a secondary teacher doing the fun stuff - food and textiles - and I’m equally content in the city or in the country, in a tent or a palace but mostly I just enjoy exploring new environs preferably with a dog by my side. I have done a few housesitting gigs, in North Queensland, NZ and in Portugal (yes that was pretty damn amazing) so this is not a novel experience for me. I live on 4.25 very tidy acres in the Noosa Shire, I grew up on a pineapple farm with lots of animals so I have loads of practical skills.
