Hi! I'm Kristen.

I'm 57 and mum to a 19 yr old son and 21 yr old daughter, both of whom have left home. Plus I'm mum to Baxter, our 13 year old Cavoodle whom I share with my ex-husband. Baxter is deeply loved and adored by us all and has an incredible life full of variety and adventure.

I'm also grandma to my daughter's American Staffy Diesel, who is deeply loved, adored and spoiled just as much and loves coming to stay.

I absolutely adore animals and am a big softy for all creatures great and small. I grew up with cats, and also had rabbits, ducks and chooks at one time or another, plus fish. I've been a mum to dogs for the past 28 years, and we also had guinea pigs and a turtle when our kids were younger. Plus we rescued baby birds and raised them until they were able to fly away.

I run my own coaching and consulting business which I've operated since founding it 9 years ago. I'm in the process of transitioning to predominantly online coaching programs so I'm free to travel during the winter months and work at the same time.
Baxter will stay with my ex-husband during my stints away.

I'm a lover of the outdoors and keep physically active. I'm also a lover of the sun. Hence me wanting to travel during the winter months to get out of the cold weather in South Australia. I'm also a lover of style, and express it through fashion and interiors.

Whilst I like to head out each day to get exercise, I also like being at home and am mindful of not leaving pets without company for long. I understand they need far more than just feeding, and I prioritise exercise, routine, affection and mental stimulation. I take Baxter with me to as many places as possible. I have a calm, caring nature that animals respond well to.

I’m a non-smoker and rarely drink alcohol. Whilst I have a strong social network, I’m also very content in my own company and happy to travel solo for this reason.

I'm very house proud and like my environment kept neat and clean. I'm also a lover of plants and have a house full of them. I'm a keen gardener and extremely capable with all aspects of maintaining a garden and yard.

I've attached photo's of my current rental property, plus the previous 2 so you can see the properties I've maintained on my own, plus the gardens. One of the properties I rented had an extensive topiary garden which I kept manicured to perfection.

In the attachments you'll find references from my current and previous landlords confirming my suitability and character as a tenant. Plus a current police check.

Now that I'm an empty nester I want to travel more and my preference is to house and pet sit. Given my experience with maintaining properties to a high standard, plus my natural, nurturing nature with animals, it makes good sense for me to offer both of these valuable traits to home and pet owners in need.
