I’ve always loved animals. My favourite growing up was actually a pig, although I never quite managed to convince Mum that we needed one! We had dogs and rabbits instead, and I fell completely in love with them.

I also fell in love with travelling. I’ve spent the last decade living on the road and exploring the beautiful islands of Indonesia, so I’ve never really stayed in one place long enough to commit to a fur baby of my own. In Indonesia, I could get my animal fix simply by walking down the road. Since coming home to Australia, I’ve realised just how much I miss having animals around, so pet and house sitting has become a wonderful way for me to have that connection while giving your pets plenty of love and attention.

I was a foster mama for animals in Indonesia and rescued a newborn kitten who had been dumped on the road, caring for him until we found his forever home. Since returning to Australia, I’ve completed several pet sits and absolutely loved them. Most recently I did a farm sit out past Nimbin, looking after a beautiful dog, a Shetland pony and cattle — and I loved every moment of it.

I’m currently building my own online business, which means I’m home a lot and have plenty of time to be around your pets. I love walking, being outdoors and spending time in nature, so if your dog enjoys adventures, I’ll happily take them along. If they’re more of a couch potato, I’m equally happy with a quiet day at home together.

I’m comfortable caring for older animals and have experience administering medication during a previous dog sit. I’m also very happy to send regular photos and updates, and I’m always available for a FaceTime if you'd like to check in with your pets while you're away.

As for your home, I’m clean, respectful and considerate. I treat every space as though it were my own and take pride in leaving a home cared for, tidy and looked after. I’m happy to take care of plants, gardens, mail and the other little things that help keep everything running smoothly while you're away.

I’ve realised that I’m particularly drawn to longer sits in peaceful, rural or nature-filled settings. There’s something I really love about settling into a place for a little while, getting to know the animals and their routines, enjoying the surrounding nature and making myself at home. A country property, farm or little home tucked away in nature with animals to care for sounds pretty close to heaven to me. That said, I’m always open to the right opportunity and the right connection.

I genuinely love animals and enjoy the experience of living in different places and caring for someone’s home and pets. For me, it’s a lovely exchange — you get someone who genuinely wants to be there, and I get to spend time with some beautiful animals.
