Hello everyone,
I am Johanna, 30 years, social worker, travelled from January to June 2026 through Latin America and now I want to work in Brisbane close to my brother and his family.
I am looking forwarded to learn about Australia life, culture and food and work.
Since I am a work&traveller I need to watch out for my budget. That is for sure one reason to apply for house and animal sitting positions. Though, I love the opportunity to get to know "the real Australia" in "real neighbourhoods" outside Hostels and foreigners. Moreover, I grew up in a small village, in nature and with animals and for sure I love that and want to maintain a little bit of that love and lifestyle even though I am travelling.

In my free time I love hiking, make use of a sports bike, running, or sing, meditate and read.

I grew up with animals such as cats, dogs and horses and have private experiences with house sitting.

Within my capabilities I want to adjust to the animals needs whether many walks, snuggles and attention are required or simply not. Both is fine with me as long as the animals are happy.
