Hello there! I'm a permanently-employed High School English teacher and homeowner down in Denmark, WA and I'm taking a sabbatical from teaching for 2026 to write and travel for a year. I'll also be three years in remission this January so taking the chance to live a little and enjoy a break from the rat race and I'm open to fur baby sit anywhere in WA from Xmas through to late Jan.

I became an Australian citizen in 1998 - originating from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the UK but emigrated with my family to Perth way back when I was a teenager myself. Completed both my Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees here in Perth and my whole family reside in City Beach and Denmark, WA.

I have been a house/pet sitter previously in Perth and overseas with Trusted Housesitters across the UK and Europe for many many years and have a strong profile on THS which I can share. I pride myself on my ability to quickly establish deep bonds with animals and will look after your home like I would my very own. I'm single, a non-smoker and I love to explore and see new places.

I have also been a foster fail myself several times in my life not only here in Oz, but whilst working with rescues abroad. I love caring for animals as much as I love to travel and learn - and am excited for the opportunity to take care of your home and give your animals the affection, exercise, company and reassurance they need. I will always communicate with you and keep your mind at peace.

I am a fit, respectful, mature, neat/tidy and responsible individual who owns their own home in Denmark, WA.

As a teacher, I have my police clearance and working with children check up to date. Be very happy to speak in person and go from there.
