Hey, I’m Jye 👋

I’m 29, a Sunshine Coast local, lover of animals, music, the outdoors and the occasional good adventure.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to look after dogs, cats and farm animals, and one of my favourite things about house sitting is getting to know the different personalities that come with each animal. Some want constant attention, some need their space, and some will have you convinced they’ve been starving for weeks five minutes after dinner. I’m pretty good at reading the room, and the animal. 😂

I work for myself doing Uber Eats delivery driving, which gives me a flexible lifestyle and means I can work my schedule around the needs of the pets and home I’m looking after. I’m patient, attentive and a quick learner, so I’m more than happy to follow your routines and make sure your pets feel comfortable while you’re away.

I’m also clean, tidy and respectful. I like leaving a place the way I found it, if not a little better. I’m fairly handy around the house too, so if something needs fixing or a bit of maintenance pops up, I’m not afraid to have a crack at it.

When I’m not working or looking after animals, you’ll usually find me making music, at the beach, walking through the bush or somewhere up a mountain. I’m pretty easy going and I’m focused on finding the joy in things, even when life throws a few curveballs.

For me, house sitting is a bit more than just finding somewhere to stay. It’s a way to slow down, experience new places and make genuine connections with people and their pets. I get to travel while you travel and in return, you get the peace of mind that your home and your furry (or feathered, or four-legged!) family are in good hands.
