I am a 49 year old born and bred Newy girl. Passionate about animals and enjoy pottering in the garden. I live at New Lambton with my long-term partner Jason and my 13 year old son. Our house is currently being renovated and it's taking longer than anticipated before we can move back in!
Currently we are in an airbnb at Dudley, however we need to relocate as the owner is doubling the rent for the summer holiday season.
We are able to move out of the airbnb during the month of September and I would like to think we can move back home in November but there are no guarantees on the timeline at present! Surely we will be back home before Xmas?
We are an animal loving family. Jason works from home and is a calm and quiet companion for any animals. We own a gentle 1 year old staffy cross called Winter who can either housesit with us (or not, if you prefer. To be clear- all our extended family live around the Hunter so Winter, and even my partner or son, haha, can have a stint at a family member's house. None of our relatives have enough room to house all 4 of us at once, which is understandable when they won'tbe going away themselves. We'd appreciate an opportunity to stay together as a family of 4 but it is not essential).
Cats who don't normally love other people make a beeline for my son. He's quite the cat whisperer.
I'm a local primary school teacher. My son attends Kotara high school. We are particularly looking for a housesit in the September/October school holidays and beyond.
