Hi I'm Steff, a 54 year old male from New Zealand.

I've owned my own homes in Hawke's Bay, NZ for over 25 years. I also have a flawless 5-star rating on Airbnb both as a guest and as a host.

In the past five years I have spent lengthy periods in Australia. I also travel around New Zealand in my 8m motorhome when guests are staying in my Airbnb home. I'm able to live like this due to the nature of my work, which is all online – marketing and comms.

At the end of August 2025, I had to say goodbye to my little black cat Kora, who lived to be 19.5-years-old – that's 94 cat years! In her final 7 years she required a strict renal diet to counter CKD, and in the 9 months before passing she needed a raft of medications to keep her going and feeling comfortable. RIP little Kora.

Point being, as well as standard care such as feeding, toileting, exercising, playing, and chilling out with your pet, I'm also quite capable of providing additional care for them such as: administering subcutaneous (under the skin) injections; giving them pills (whole or crushed into a paste and delivered with oral syringe for instance), regular grooming (brushing, spot-clipping matted hair, cutting nails etc); and any other special treatment they may require. I also have experience as a dog-walker (including large dogs) for busy film industry people in Wellington, New Zealand.

Other reasons I love visiting Australia are: art, theatre, sport, the glorious food, the coffee, to ride modern public transport systems and view AU's impressive civic environments and infrastructure, and of course Aussie sunsets. I also have a penchant for Brutalist architecture, metrocore aesthetics and sleek city vibes. Yes, these things mean I am quite the nerd!
