More information about this house sitter

I'm Paola, 26 years old. I love traveling, reading, working out, interior design, cooking, and art.

First things first—I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. Cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish… you name it! I grew up in an animal-loving family, and caring for pets has always been second nature to me.

When I moved out at 18, I quickly realized how much I missed having animals around. That’s when I started pet sitting for dogs and cats, and now, seven years later, I’m still doing it regularly with just as much love and enthusiasm.

I’m originally from the Netherlands and live in Amsterdam, where I often welcome furry guests into my home for days or even weeks at a time. Since I work remotely, I can give them plenty of attention, cuddles, and care throughout the day. I’m also part of a Dutch pet-sitting platform, where pet owners can find reliable sitters for their beloved animals. Through this, I regularly take care of pets in their own homes as well.

One of my favorite things about pet sitting is how every animal has its own personality and unique needs. Whether it’s an energetic pup that loves long nature walks or a shy cat that needs a little extra patience, I love adapting to what makes each pet feel comfortable and happy. I take my role seriously, knowing that looking after both pets and someone’s home is a big responsibility.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing a pet relax and trust me while their owner is away. Whether it’s playtime, belly rubs, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every animal in my care gets the love and attention they deserve. Read more...
