More information about this house sitter

I am a reliable, tidy, friendly, and easygoing 34 year old animal lover who works for the public service. The majority of the time I work remotely from Townsville in Queensland, but my team is based in Canberra so I am looking to organise more frequent visits to work with my team in the Canberra office. I would love any opportunity to pet and house sit during these visits, and am keen to be flexible with the timing and duration of my visits to fit in with when house and pet sits are needed! Given I would be coming down for work, it would just need to suit you and your pets for me to be out of the house during the day time, as I would be working from the office.

I am not looking for any payment - just having somewhere to stay and lovely pets to care for is all the payment I need!

I love animals. I have a beautiful and sassy 5 year old domestic short hair tabby cat, Izzy, who I absolutely adore and treat like my own child. Having grown up on a beef cattle property in North Queensland, I have lots of experience looking after animals. I have spent long periods caretaking out at my parents’ property, looking after their 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, horses, poddy calves, bird and cows. I am also totally comfortable with looking after any plants etc, as during my caretaking experience at my parents’ farm I’ve looked after their huge garden for very long periods!

I have also pet sitted for my friends’ 2 cats, as well as my aunty’s 2 cats and elderly dog in Brisbane. Any of them would be happy to provide a reference if you would like one. Read more...
