Hi! I’m April, a 29-year-old Irish professional who has called Australia home for the past seven years. I hold permanent residency and currently work in Human Resources. I’m based in Brisbane at the moment but am planning to relocate to Melbourne. I actually lived in Melbourne for my first year after arriving in Australia and absolutely loved it, so I’m excited to make the move back and reconnect with the city while helping homeowners and their pets feel safe and cared for.

I’ve always been a huge animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes. Growing up, I’ve owned several breeds of both cats and dogs, from small companion breeds to larger, more energetic dogs, so I’m confident caring for a variety of personalities and temperaments. I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs, and I’m committed to making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I’m a very active person and love getting outdoors every day, so long walks are already part of my routine. Whether your dog enjoys adventurous hikes, beach walks, or a leisurely stroll around the neighbourhood, I’ll be more than happy to keep them active and engaged. Of course, I’m just as happy spending quiet time at home with cats or older pets who simply enjoy company and affection.

Working in HR has made me highly organised, responsible, and dependable. I’m respectful, clean, and take great pride in looking after other people’s homes, treating them with the same care and attention as I would my own. I’ll happily keep you updated with regular messages and photos, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
