A very warm welcome to my profile; my name is quite complex so everyone calls me SAM! And the care I offer is just as simple.
I've been a dedicated cat owner and pet carer for over 30 years and, growing up on a farm with 13 cats (and the whole farmyard menagerie), I possess an innate understanding of what it is our unique, intuitive and highly-responsive companions need: the do's and don'ts, and how to comfort them most when their circumstances change. I'm more than just a carer who does cats 'on the side': all critters fascinate me!
It was a great privilege for me, also, to share 11 years of my life with a British Blue Shorthair cat- an intrepid traveller and outstanding being- who travelled the world with me, for my work. Whether it's an essential meeting or workshop, a life-enhancing retreat or just a well-earned break, I understand the 'travel bug' and can help your friend understand yours, too.
I offer short-term (2 nights minimum) or long-term (up to 90 days rate-negotiable) live-in services for travelling professionals, retreat-seekers or holiday-makers and offer my full attention and attendance to your pet, in the same manner you would. You will return to a tranquil yet positively-energised home. Your pet-friend will emanate peace and the satisfaction of seamless and individualised care that has not missed a beat.
All stages of life are unique and present us with new necessities. As a fully-qualified Individual Support Carer for humans (specialising in Aged and Palliative Care), I bring to my pet-sitting service an awareness of the physical sensitivities of pets at all stages of their lives. Offering privacy, discretion, comfort and the highest level of experience and individualised care possible, the things that matter to you most in your home will remain as such in your absence: secure, valued, and always in good company.*
