Hi, my name is Emily and my partner is Jordan. I'm a professional circus artist who regularly works with various international circus companies, in particular, Cirque Du Soleil, Circus Oz, Stut and Fret, and I now also run my own company here in Australia- Sway. My lovely partner, Jordan, works as a disability support worker and is also studying engineering part time.

I love my job and the amazing travel it has enabled me over the past 20 years. House sitting is a perfect fit for me as it gives me a home, (and hopefully a pet and/or garden), to live in and look after as my own, between work contracts. As I have gotten older, I tend to come home more often between contracts, as my family are Melbourne and NSW based, and I am Aunty Em for 5 nephews and 4 nieces now. We are predominantly looking for places around Melbourne city and surrounding suburbs, and also Geelong/Surfcoast region, (Jordan and I have family there also).

I am very house proud and extremely clean. Years of travelling have made me really appreciate the space I am in, and I thoroughly enjoy making it fresh and lovely! I grew up with dogs, cats and chooks and just adore pets!! I also grew up with a beautiful, big garden and understand the care and nurture required to help it thrive and the beautiful calm it gives you in return. Due to my work, I have been unable to have a pet or garden of my own, (one day soon I will!), but am the first on all my friends lists when they need a house/pet sitter! I am very energetic and will give any pet all the attention it needs and more!

A little about me....I perform in different parts of the world for around 4 months, on and off, per year. I have a lovely partner, Jordan, who can hold the fort when I have to jet off for a week or two. We both LOVE dogs and cats, or any other pets. We just love being outdoors and really enjoy incorporating a pet into that.

I rehearse/train in Williamstown, (when a show is coming up and, which is also pet friendly), and work from home the rest of the time, doing the admin side of things for my company Sway. Jordan works alongside my schedule but studies from home quite a bit too.

Overall, I/we would be at home more than we would be out. If you have a dog, I can take them to work/training with me- I love it! If you have a cat or any other stay at home pet, Jordan and I will spoil them from home.

We are very self-sufficient, reliable and respectful of the home we are in, and of the owners privacy. If for any reason we were unsure or felt uneasy about something to do with your home or pet, we would contact you immediately. We like to keep an open dialogue so that you, and us, feel comfortable contacting each other with any questions, or just to check up on everything. We're also more than happy to send videos or have a Facetime chat with your pets to keep you connected and reassured!

I/we have years of house/pet sitting references that are contactable via email or phone and Mindahome specific, on my profile. We have many return clients who are happy to have a chat with you via phone or text. If there is any further information you would like, please do not hesitate to ask. We are also more than happy to meet up for a chat and a cuppa to help assess whether we are the right fit as a sitter for your home/pet.

Also, because there are two of us, we are quite flexible with start and end dates. We can blend sit dates - one of us will start the new sit, while the other finishes the current sit.
