We are a couple from Melbourne now temporarily based in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast region while we build our dream - a 4WD motorhome to travel Australia in. We have a smaller camper at the moment and while we wait for the dream vehicle to be completed, we love to house sit.

We come from close-knit Melbourne families so house sitting has enabled us to feel part of local communities for a period, while we embark our a lap of the country.

We had a senior greyhound when we lived in Melbourne (who has passed on), we love animals and we will happily look after your pet/s with great care and attention. Given our dog was elderly, we are familiar with the special care that some animals need, such as medications. We are confident with animals of all sizes.

A bit about us:

We are both non-smokers.

James: I am a greenkeeper by trade and enjoy all aspects of garden maintenance. I have worked hard in my career to semi retire, allowing me to project manage the motorhome build in this interim period.

Emily: I am a journalist and a broadcaster. I will be WFH on my laptop as a freelance writer for major newspapers in Melbourne and Sydney during any house-sitting periods, which we hope will provide pets in our care with the comfort of ongoing, daily companionship.

We both held management positions in Melbourne and take the responsibility of house sitting seriously. We are currently landlords of a property in Melbourne, and have also been tenants with unblemished track records, and would treat your home as we would our own.
