Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile.

I am a single, 59-year-old non-smoker and non-drinker who takes great pride in keeping a tidy, clean, and peaceful home.

I absolutely love animals and nature, as well as exploring Australia's many amazing places. House/ pet sitting allows me to do what is simply impossible if you're a drive-through tourist. Better still, I get to make a whole bunch of new fur and feathered friends!

Because of my job, I maintain current police clearance. I work full-time from home as the manager of a grants writing team for the Queensland Police youth charity (PCYC). My job allows me to work from absolutely anywhere in Australia, and I travel with my own Starlink setup for reliable internet access.

I also bring my own bedding, towels & cleaning equipment, so my day-to-day routine is completely self-sufficient and won't disrupt your utilities or personal space.

Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to share my life with a truly wonderful variety of animals. My experience spans everything from traditional family pets like cats and dogs, to farm animals and unique wildlife. I have confidently cared for parrots, chooks, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, frogs, sheep, goats, kangaroos, turtles, fish, and even chimpanzees during my travels.

Beyond pet care, I am a Justice of the Peace (NZ), an author, and an environmental scientist. I also have a passion for gardening and have a couple of very green thumbs, meaning your indoor plants and garden will be happy, healthy, and beautifully kept when you return.

Because I work from home, I am ideally looking for house or pet sitting positions with a minimum stay of one month, but may consider shorter ones when I have gaps.

I know how anxious I was when I used to have house/ pet sitters look after my puppies and chooks, so I'm more than happy to facilitate video chats with your babies and send daily updates to give you peace of mind.

I travel with a small car, so I only need a standard driveway or a safe, small spot to park.

I have previously enjoyed sitting for families in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and Thailand, and I would love to bring that same care and respect to your home.
