We are a recently retired teaching couple from the UK who enjoy travel and love animals. I used to be an Assistant Head Teacher and now do part time remote work for employers such as Cambridge university. My dad was a vet and I grew up on a farm in Cumbria with horses, cows, dogs, cats, goats and chickens. I have hands on experience with a wide range of animals. My husband was a Head of Modern Languages. He grew up in the Somerset countryside with canaries, cats and dogs as beloved companions. He now tutors French and Spanish remotely on a part time basis. While our children were growing up we had cats and other small animals at home. We have experience of cat and dog sitting in the UK and in Australia (in casual arrangements). We are in good health and lead active lifestyles, enjoying skiing and walking. Although we currently have no pets of our own we have fostered rescue cats from Dubai and enjoy walks with my mum's greyhound, Monty. We are frequent travellers to Sydney to visit family.
