Hi! I’m Darcy. I’m an Australian and US dual citizen who loves traveling, discovering new parts of Australia, and spending time with animals. House and pet sitting fits perfectly with the way I like to live. I enjoy settling into different communities, keeping a home running smoothly, and giving pets the consistency and affection they need to feel comfortable.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve owned multiple dogs for as long as I can remember, usually two or three at a time, along with cats and other small pets. Because of that, caring for animals feels completely natural to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have always trusted me to look after their pets or their homes, and I genuinely love doing it. Whether it is walking dogs, playing with them, giving cuddles, or helping shy pets feel safe, I enjoy every part of it.

I also spend a lot of time doing community service and volunteer work. It has made me reliable, patient, and aware of the small things that help people (and pets) feel cared for. I have a degree in neuroscience, so I naturally pay close attention to behavior, routines, and small details that help animals stay calm and settled.

I take house sitting seriously. I am clean, tidy, organized, and respectful of other people’s spaces. I live a healthy, calm lifestyle and I love being active. I do not smoke, and I enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it is keeping the home clean, watering plants, bringing in mail, or sticking closely to your pet’s routine, I am dependable and detail focused.

I have experience with both short and longer stays, ranging from weekend sits to multi week sits. I have cared for everything from energetic dogs and older pets that need extra attention to cuddly cats and pets that simply enjoy company. People describe me as trustworthy, communicative, and great with updates.

I treat every sit like I am looking after my own home and my own pets. My goal is to help you feel completely at ease while you are away, knowing that your animals are happy, safe, and loved, and that your home is well looked after.
