Hi, my name is Svennie. I am 27, just finished studying sustainability in the Netherlands, and now plan to relocate to Western Australia. I’ve lived in Australia for a year before, but I’m originally from Germany.

Since I was a young child, I’ve been obsessed with animals. We had multiple cats and dogs of all characters, so I consider myself confident with any furry friends. I feel I read animals’ moods well and give a shy pet the space it needs to adjust. I’m used to nervousness and believe I know how to calmly and lovingly earn their trust.

Animal welfare is one of the things I care about most. I’ve volunteered at several animal sanctuaries and at a shelter, which taught me a lot about patience, respect, and understanding each animal’s unique needs.

I’ve also dogsat for a year in England and love being outside for long walks. Up until three years ago I had two cats of my own, whom I loved dearly before they passed away of old age.
