Hi, I’m Sebastien, a 34yo French traveller currently living in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa.

I’ve been travelling and living in Australia for a little over a year and a half.

I’m currently in Townsville and available for house and pet sitting here from now until around 20 December. From around 20 December onwards, I’ll be in Sydney and looking for a house and pet sitting opportunity around the New Year period.

I’ve always been a big dog lover. I grew up with dogs and had two Labradors throughout my life, so looking after dogs has always felt very natural to me\. More recently, I’ve started house and pet sitting in Australia and have already had two great experiences, with another one currently ongoing.

My first sit was with Alani, a very small female Toy Poodle, and my second has been with Koba, a 52kg German Shepherd, whom I am still looking after at the moment. So I’m comfortable with dogs of very different sizes, personalities and needs. Both experiences have gone wonderfully, and I’d be very happy to provide references and photos from my previous sits.

I’m also comfortable taking care of a home and its day-to-day responsibilities. During my previous stays, I’ve looked after gardens and plants, maintained a swimming pool and, of course, made sure the house was kept clean, tidy and well looked after.

Although most of my experience so far has been with dogs, I’m absolutely open to looking after cats, birds, fish or other animals. I’m responsible, respectful and attentive, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their home and pets are in good hands.

For me, house sitting is not simply about having somewhere to stay. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and taking care of a home, and I would treat your house and pets with the same care and respect I would give my own.
