Hi everyone,

We’d love to introduce ourselves! We are Matt and Lacey, along with our three wonderful children, and we’re looking for house-sitting and pet-sitting opportunities in and around Hervey Bay.

We are homeowners ourselves and take enormous pride in keeping an immaculate, clean and well-maintained home. We understand the trust involved in leaving your home and pets in someone else’s care, and we would look after them as though they were our own.

Matt owns a mobile diesel mechanic and welding business, so he’s practical, reliable and handy with general property maintenance if required. As a family, we love animals and understand how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable and following their usual routines while their owners are away.

We’re currently in Hervey Bay because my dad, who lives in Torquay, is undergoing treatment for advanced lung cancer that has spread to his brain. Unfortunately, due to his illness and the effects of his brain tumours, he isn’t able to have us stay with him, so we’re looking for house-sitting opportunities that allow us to remain close by to support him during this incredibly important time.

We are non-smokers, respectful, honest and reliable. We’re happy to care for pets of all kinds, water gardens, collect mail, keep your home secure and maintain your property while you’re away. We can also provide references if needed.
